Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a nature reserve in the northwest area of Singapore and is the first wetlands reserve to be gazetted locally in 2002. It is a significant stop-over point for migratory birds on East Asian-Australasian Flyway. This 130 hectares reserve was listed as an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2003. For birders, the birds migration season at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a key event on their photography calendar.

Dear friends, the S'pore NDP 2022 celebrates our 57th National Day. And what an occasion to celebrate the receding pandemic. The weekly rehearsals are the best way to grab some pictures leading to the actual day. You can never get all the shots by just shooting once on the actual day. The following are some tips which you might find helpful - The Singapore Dragon Boat Festival is one of the oldest dragon boat races in Singapore. The other festival is the Singapore River Regatta which has evolved into the Singapore Regatta Waterfest@Sports Hub. Singapore Dragon Boat Festival 2022 is SDBA's 1st event to bring back the exciting thumping of the dragon boat drums. Last week I had a quick last-minute plan to meet with a couple of my friends to discuss our impending overseas photography adventure and also did a droning session at the open field near Marina Coastal Drive. Just a brief session to take our drones out of storage to warm up their motor, refresh the Li-Po batteries and our droning skills. Flying drones in Singapore can be a tricky issue, as we have very limited land and air space.
